New year's hike

In Chinese, there is a saying that suggests going for a hike on the first day of the year to help you climb higher and higher throughout the year. This saying is known as "新年登高, 步步高升," which symbolizes taking steps that lead to continuous improvement. This year, we followed this tradition and went to Mt. Tamalpais, a place we consider the best spot to overlook the bay and relax.

A friend then took us to Bernal Heights, another fantastic spot to overlook the bay area, but we had a better view of the East Bay.
